    Resources Deactivation in AGRIVI System

Keeping track of what is happening on the farm requires some records. Without written records, farmers have to depend on their memory when making decisions to modify their farm practices. Memories can become unreliable, particularly after a few days, months or years. Effective management of farming operations today requires that records be kept, so farm managers can make informed decisions affecting the profitability of their farms.Good farm management requires having a good useful set of farm records, such as record-keeping for resources – workers, machinery and fields. Farmers are swamped with work and often have no time to keep things like who is a new worker or who comes again as a seasonal worker, which machinery is not in use, which field will not be planted in the next season, etc.To manage farm production more easily, AGRIVI has the possibility to deactivate resources – fields, machinery and workers. Only workers can be deactivated – users, who have access to the system, can’t be deactivated.Deactivation of resources allows you to remove one or many workers, machinery and fields from the active list. They are not deleted, they are just hidden and they can be easily returned back on the list at any moment. On that way, in the list of your resources, you can see all workers, machinery and fields, that are active. Each item can be deactivated by clicking on edit button and then on ‘’deactivate’’. All deactivated items you can see at the end of the list of all workers, machinery or fields, by clicking on ‘’show deactivated’’.

For example, if you have seasonal workers which are active only one or two months during the season, you can deactivate them while they are not on the farm, and when they come back, just activate them again.

Deactivated workers, machinery and fields do not appear in tasks. So, when you are entering work hours for some worker or machinery in any task, deactivated ones won’t be visible on the list.

Good records ensure not only successful farm but also with good farm record keeping, farmers can tell how well they are managing their production. They can also see the strengths and weaknesses in their production.

    Farm wisely, use AGRIVI system!
